This is Edna’s rose. Katie’s grandma (Edna) passed away on Saturday. This rose bush was planted outside of the house she had recently moved into. The day she died, the first rose bloomed.

I’ve been browsing Vivian Maier’s photography for about an hour and I found a self portrait that reminded me of one that I took a couple of years ago. Looking at them together is very Now & Then. I really need to just carry my camera everywhere I go and take pictures like I used to.
The nice thing about a halo around the sun (vs the moon) is that you can easily get a picture.
